St Mary Magdalenes


  • 450g sugar
  • 125g butter or margarine
  • 110ml milk
  • 1small tin condensed milk


Dissolve sugar in milk gently in pan

Add butter and melt. Boil gently for 10minutes

Add tin of condensd milk and boil for a further 25 minutes

Remove from heat and stir until cooled a bit. Pour into baking tin and and leave until cold. Cut into squares
